I’m thinking of switching to Clear 4G WiMAX for my broadband Internet connection. I’m told that there is a tower about 1 mile away from my location. Any thoughts?

LOVE THEIR SERVICE !!!

A little slower than cable granted (6.0 mbps down whereas cable has about 20.0), but the portability is cool to have. There is no download limit for the $45-50 a month (just watch your uploading), and the service is reliable.

I used used their old service (Clearwire) for my game servers, and they never said anything about it; but little backyard game servers don't need much bandwidth anyway.

However, a TeamSpeak server..... depends on the amount of usage it gets. but seeing as the new WiMAX has more bandwidth than the old service, they might allow a little more. I had to do a lot of torrenting for them to say anything to me, but I let that go all day constant. I would use your better judgment on that as I do not know how much usage the TS server gets.
