Post Greaper's Gaming Servers
I started a new thread since I'm covering all of my servers instead of just the IWM server.

I'm working on getting my servers back up. I have a dedicated machine for this, but I don't have a whole lot of time to work on it.

Here is my servers' IP and Dynamic DNS:

IP address: 174.70.146.222
Dynamic DNS: greaper88.game-server.cc

(Click on the "Dynamic DNS" to check my IP if it's changed and I haven't updated it yet.)

Here are the games and the ports that they're running on.
Click on one for its status.

I just got my lox server back online, but I don't yet have all of the maps and player files installed on it yet. It's just running the standard map rotation. deleted outdated ip from here

Post Re: Greaper's Gaming Servers
I have finally copied all of my maps and player files to my server. If you had any favorites that you liked to play on my server, they're back. Any good maps that I don't have, recommend and I'll try to find them. :) The WOS servers list needs to be updated. Now I just need to set up the IWM server...

I was on your server for a couple of hours yesterday, bumping around in Skies' maps. All was very smooth (but quiet). :D

If I hadn't been at work, things wouldn't have been so quiet.

Post Re: Greaper's Gaming Servers
I just upgraded my server system. The original server I was using was a P3 866Mhz, 160MB RAM, and a 160GB hard drive. The new system is a dual-core 2.4GHz P4 with 512 MB RAM. I just swapped the hard drives. This also means that the IP address has changed...again, hopefully for the last time for a while.

The new IP is:deleted, see 1st post

Have fun!

I have finally got the IWM server back online, but I have yet to finish setting the settings. It is running on port see 1st post.

I've also got my Dynamic DNS set back up:

greaper88.game-server.cc

removed port numbers from here. they're on the 1st post

I have just set up an UnrealTournament 99 game server. It is set as an instagib with instant rockets. The ip is the same as my q2 servers. Check it out sometime. I was considering enableing the stealth mode, but decided against it.

Lovely, I always liked the smell of UT99. I'm not impressed too much with the latest addition. Will try it out.

Post Re: Greaper's Gaming Servers
hey i actually have that game and it works well for me.
i will make an effort to get on this afternoon.

sorry for typing, i am typing with one hand and cat on chest. I have been on the road for 2 weeks and kitties missed me, they are on floor all around and on desk, crystal on chest since she fits... i hate to disappoint them. even more fun since they are all fed and aren't trying to get food, they are doing it for the pure attention. :) besides, it's cold here at 60 something in house and they keep me warm. :)

Good show, I connected ok but only after a bit of time. You should edit your second post to reflect your new IP. I did not read the entire thread to get the ip only looked for the first reference.

This could be edited at the same time for whatever is correct, I would think 27912.

Other than that I could be tricked into a game night some time soon for UT99.

Thanks for putting up UT99 Greaper.

Thanks for the advice bvj. I decided to do it with the first post instead. I have edited my first post and the rest to that respect. It makes sense to edit the 1st post to make it easier for everybody. After a particular controversy that shall go unnamed, I believe it to be best to do it this way: leave all references to the IP's and ports on the first post. the rest for other updates and discussions. :) feel free to give me your feedback.
